The Cackling is infiltrating the yearly social media acting challenge known as #SelfTapeMay with self-tapes of scenes, songs, narration and poetry written by BIPOC women, 35+.
Anyone can participate by tagging their Instagram post with:
#TheCackling #SelfTapeMay
Da Rulez
On May 1st, #SelfTapeMay organizers will release a special item you must include in your self-tape to ensure you’re not a “cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater.” You can use that item, draw it, write it, or speak it when you slate.
THE SPECIAL TIME IS:
HEART ❤
Starting May 1st, shoot and upload at least ONE self tape to Instagram with the hashtags #SelfTapeMay #TheCackling
Can be multiple scenes, one line, song, a voiceover, poem, or even just a look (ok Norma Desmond?)
…but it must be written by a BIPOC woman, 35+!
Credit the writer(s) in your post. Example: “A Hard Days Night” from Grey’s Anatomy, written by Shonda Rhimes.
